Photographer
I am Bruce Danz, a photographer since age 8, when I was given a Kodak Instamatic 104 camera. I have always been drawn to The Landscape. I developed my eye for light, form and composition from studying classic works of painted and photographic art from early childhood. My passion is to see and record the beauty of nature in its various forms and hope to convey to the viewer the same joy and wonder that I experience. I believe nature photography should also be enlightening and revealing of the wonders that surround us. I seek to portray not only beauty, but also behavior and emotion in wildlife. I hope the photos will make you smile, and some may make you laugh!
For me, the appreciation of Nature produces a sense of gratitude, and from there, a determination to preserve that which is natural for our children to enjoy. Although I love to travel, most of my photography will be from that which is most familiar to me in the upper Midwest.
I
am a retired Family Physician, having practiced at Kaukauna Clinic, SC for 37 years. I live with my wife, Chris, in Appleton, Wisconsin and have
four children. I am involved in local conservation through the Northeast Wisconsin Land Trust. I
am pleased to present this gallery of my photography offering direct
sales. For those interested, I will be sending regular email updates
and descriptions of my work.
My photography is also available for
viewing and purchase at Foxley's Gallery at 623 W College Ave, Appleton,
